Who we are
Flaneur Sensory Productions began in the streets of Edinburgh, where filmmaker Khalid and academic-turned-creative Sharleen met over coffee and conversations about cinema, observation, and storytelling.
A shared love of sensory detail and cultural narrative sparked a collaboration—solidified by a passage from The Flaneur by Edmund White, describing a Parisian street alive with the essence of Marrakesh. Inspired by the idea of the flâneur; one who wanders, observes, and feels. We decided to work together to blend cinematic storytelling with cultural insight and sensory depth.
We tell stories that don’t just inform, but immerse. We specialise in powerful documentaries and fiction films that provoke emotion and ignite cultural dialogue.
